The Portuguese player, on holiday in Sardinia with his girlfriend Nereida, has shown signs of impatience. First a friend of his flooded a boat carrying some photographers, then he made a rude gesture in their direction

VILLASIMIUS (Sardinia), 1 July 2008 - Up until now things had gone smoothly. But yesterday Cristiano Ronaldo, in company with his girlfriend Nereida and friends, showed the first signs of impatience. It mustn't be easy to endure the continued presence of the photographers. Spotting some photographers in a small boat in front of the Pitrizza hotel, one of his entourage took a jet ski and began to circle the boat at high speed, before making a sharp turn to flood the boat with water and ruin the paparazzi's equipment. Cristiano Ronaldo observed the scene from the beach, and further insulted the photographers with a rude gesture.
